These Terms of Service (“Terms”) constitute a legally binding agreement between you (“you” or “the customer”) and Story Bear (ABN 42 674 626 307), a business operating from Perth, Western Australia (“Story Bear”, “we”, “us”, or “our”).

By visiting, browsing, or purchasing from storybear.com.au, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms, as well as our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use our website or services.

We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms at any time without prior notice. Changes take effect from the date they are published on this page. Continued use of the website after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.

You may use this website only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree not to:

• Use the website in any way that violates applicable Australian laws or regulations.
• Engage in any conduct that is harmful, fraudulent, deceptive, threatening, harassing, or otherwise objectionable.

All products sold on Story Bear are children's books available for delivery within Australia. We make every effort to display product information accurately, including titles, authors, descriptions, and cover images. However, we do not warrant that product descriptions or other content are entirely accurate, complete, or error-free.

All prices are displayed in Australian Dollars (AUD) and include GST where applicable. Prices are subject to change without notice. The price applicable to your order is the price displayed at the time you place your order.

We reserve the right to limit quantities of any product, discontinue any product, or refuse any order at our discretion. If we are unable to fulfil your order due to a pricing error or stock availability issue, we will contact you to discuss the options available, which may include a full refund.

When you place an order, you are making an offer to purchase the selected products. A binding contract is formed once we confirm your order via email. We reserve the right to decline any order for any reason, including but not limited to stock availability, suspected fraud, or errors in product or pricing information.

Payments are processed securely through Stripe, a third-party payment processor. By providing your payment details, you authorise Stripe to process the transaction on our behalf. Story Bear does not store your full credit card details on our servers.

We accept the following payment methods:

• Visa and Mastercard credit and debit cards
• American Express
• Apple Pay and Google Pay (where available)
• Other payment methods supported by Stripe

All transactions are subject to Stripe's own terms of service and privacy policy, which you can find at stripe.com/au/legal.

You are responsible for ensuring your payment information is accurate and that you have authorisation to use the payment method provided. If a payment is declined or reversed, we reserve the right to cancel your order and seek recovery of any amounts owed.

Story Bear ships to addresses within Australia only. We do not currently offer international shipping.

Estimated delivery timeframes are provided as a guide only and are not guaranteed. Delivery times may vary depending on your location, carrier delays, public holidays, or circumstances beyond our control. Story Bear is not liable for any loss or damage arising from delivery delays.

Shipping costs (if applicable) are calculated at checkout and displayed before you complete your purchase. Free shipping thresholds, promotions, or conditions may apply and will be clearly communicated on the website.

Risk of loss and title for items purchased from Story Bear passes to you upon delivery of the items to the carrier. You are responsible for providing a correct and complete delivery address. Story Bear is not responsible for items lost or delayed due to an incorrect address provided by you.

If a parcel is returned to us as undeliverable, we will contact you to arrange redelivery (which may incur an additional shipping fee) or to process a refund of the product cost only.

Our returns and refunds policy is provided in accordance with the Australian Consumer Law (ACL). Your rights under the ACL cannot be excluded, restricted, or modified.

You are entitled to a replacement, repair, or refund if a product:

• Is faulty or damaged (major failure)
• Does not match the description provided
• Is not fit for the purpose we described

For change-of-mind returns, we offer a refund or store credit at our discretion, provided the item is returned within 14 days of delivery in its original, unopened condition. Return postage costs for change-of-mind returns are the responsibility of the customer.

To initiate a return, please contact us via WhatsApp at +61 494 631 050 before sending any items back. Returns sent without prior authorisation may not be accepted.

Refunds approved by Story Bear will be processed to the original payment method within 5–10 business days of us receiving and inspecting the returned item.

All content on this website — including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, images, product descriptions, and the overall design — is the property of Story Bear or its content suppliers and is protected by Australian and international copyright and intellectual property laws.

You may view, print, or download content from this website solely for your own personal, non-commercial use. You must not:

• Reproduce, republish, or redistribute any content without our express written permission.
• Use our trademarks, trade names, or logos without prior written consent.
• Modify, create derivative works from, or commercially exploit any content on this website.

The intellectual property rights of book publishers, authors, and illustrators in the products we sell remain with their respective owners. Purchase of a product does not transfer any intellectual property rights to you.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Story Bear excludes all liability for any loss or damage (including direct, indirect, consequential, incidental, or special loss or damage) arising out of or in connection with your use of this website or any products purchased from us.

Where liability cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law or other applicable legislation, our liability is limited to (at our option):

• In the case of goods: replacement, repair, or refund of the purchase price.
• In the case of services: the resupply of the services or payment of the cost of resupply.

Story Bear makes no warranty that the website will be available at all times or that it will be free from errors, viruses, or other harmful components. We reserve the right to suspend, withdraw, or amend the website without notice.
