We deliver Australia-wide so your little one's next favourite book is never far away. Here's everything you need to know about how we get our books to your door.
Where We Deliver
Story Bear ships to all addresses within Australia, including PO Boxes and rural areas. We do not currently offer international shipping.
Shipping Options
We offer two shipping options on every order. Shipping costs are calculated at checkout before you complete your purchase.

Free Shipping
Free standard shipping on orders over $50
Spend $50 or more and standard delivery is on us. The discount is applied automatically at checkout — no code needed. Express delivery can still be selected for $14.95.
Order Processing
Orders placed before 2:00 pm AWST (Monday to Friday) are typically dispatched the same business day. Orders placed after this time, or on weekends and public holidays, will be dispatched on the next business day.
Once your order has been dispatched, you will receive an email with tracking information so you can follow your parcel every step of the way.
Estimated Delivery Times
Delivery timeframes are estimates from the date of dispatch, not the date of purchase. Actual delivery times may vary depending on your location.

Delivery times may be affected by public holidays, severe weather, or other events outside our control.
Order Tracking
Every order includes tracking. Once your books have been dispatched, we'll email you a tracking number and a link to follow your parcel in real time.
If your tracking hasn't updated in a few days, don't worry — sometimes there can be a short delay between scans. If it's been more than the estimated delivery window, please get in touch and we'll look into it for you.
Delivery Issues
Incorrect address: Please double-check your shipping address at checkout. We are unable to redirect a parcel once it has been dispatched. If a parcel is returned to us due to an incorrect address, we will contact you to arrange redelivery, which may incur an additional shipping fee.
Lost or damaged parcels: If your order arrives damaged or does not arrive within the estimated delivery window, please contact us as soon as possible. We will work with our delivery partner to investigate and resolve the issue promptly. This may include reshipping your order or issuing a full refund.
Authority to leave: Our carriers may leave your parcel in a safe place at the delivery address if no one is available to receive it. If you would prefer a parcel not be left unattended, please include a note in your order.

Shipping rates and delivery timeframes are current as of March 2026 and are subject to change. For the most up-to-date shipping costs, please refer to the checkout page. Your rights under the Terms of Service and the Australian Consumer Law are not affected by this page.
